(The Legendary Chariot of Victory – c. 405–400 BC)

Inspired by the ultimate masterpiece of ancient Greek numismatics, the silver decadrachm of Syracuse.

On its obverse, a skilled charioteer dynamically guides a quadriga (a four-horse chariot) in full gallop, while the winged goddess Nike hovers above to crown him, celebrating a monumental victory. Beneath in the exergue, the athla are displayed—the prized suit of armor and weapons awarded as trophies to victorious champions.

I often relate jewelry to clothes. Someone who wears the same shirt everyday can not expect it to last as long as someone who only wears the item once a week.
